The EcoChirp Transmitter is a low cost, easy to install, durable pulse transmitter specifically designed for use in water metering or pit applications. The market leading transmitter is designed to provide consumption data for billing, monitoring and targeting.Through the use on an innovative magnetic antenna coupling, it provides unrivalled range from underground water meter pit or chambers. Once connected to a meter, the transmitter can easily mount to the under side of the pit chamber lid via the magnetic coupling negating the need for mounting brackets or clamps.

Once installed, EcoChirp transmitters count pulses from meterhead or reed switch type output utility meters. The transmitted data can be sent via a Wi5 data hub or other HWM Receiver/Repeaters. The transmit or "chirp" consists of a secure data packet along with a status and unique ID address at regular intervals (various transmission times available).
Information such as low battery warning is also provided on all variants. Repeaters can be used to extend transmission range.
